Typically spanning four years, the BABCom lets you select one or two majors for the BA portion while enrolling in four to five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom segment requires seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). First-year offerings include classical mythology and ancient history studies. Advanced coursework in subsequent years covers warfare, religion, Egyptian language, art, gender studies, political evolution, and daily life in antiquity. The curriculum explores literary forms like epic poetry, tragedy, comedy, and romantic verse, examines Egyptian art and spirituality through non-Western lenses, investigates Mediterranean archaeology, and introduces historical icons including Alexander the Great and Cleopatra. As part of your Classical Studies and Ancient History major, you can study Ancient Greek, Latin, or Hieroglyphics.
