The BABCom conjoint program allows you to blend fundamental business studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, languages, and cultural subjects. This program equips you with vital competencies to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will prove valuable across numerous professional fields and work environments. Typically spanning four years, the BABCom lets you select one or two majors for the BA portion while enrolling in four to five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom segment requires seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). Pursuing a BABCom conjoint cultivates versatile career skills including sophisticated communication, analytical and innovative problem-solving, research proficiency, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. This prepares you to capitalize on emerging opportunities across evolving social, technological, and commercial landscapes.
First-year offerings include classical mythology and ancient history studies. Advanced coursework in subsequent years covers warfare, religion, Egyptian language, art, gender studies, political evolution, and daily life in antiquity. The curriculum explores literary forms like epic poetry, tragedy, comedy, and romantic verse, examines Egyptian art and spirituality through non-Western lenses, investigates Mediterranean archaeology, and introduces historical icons including Alexander the Great and Cleopatra. As part of your Classical Studies and Ancient History major, you can study Ancient Greek, Latin, or Hieroglyphics.
