The BABCom conjoint program allows you to blend fundamental business studies with diverse humanities, social sciences, cultures, and language subjects. This program equips you with vital skills to navigate and succeed in our rapidly evolving global economy. Your acquired expertise will open doors to various career paths and professional environments. Typically spanning four years, the BABCom lets you select up to two majors for the BA portion, with four to five BA courses annually. Additionally, you may opt for up to two modules. The BCom component begins with seven mandatory Stage I courses before specializing in your chosen major(s). This degree cultivates valuable career competencies including advanced communication, critical and creative thinking, research proficiency, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and multicultural awareness. You'll be prepared to capitalize on emerging opportunities across societal, technological, and business landscapes.
Within the Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting stands among eleven available subjects, frequently paired with Finance or another business discipline as a double major. You can pursue Accounting as either a single focus or combine it with other BCom majors like the popular Finance option. The Accounting program is also available through conjoint degree arrangements (where you simultaneously work toward two qualifications, completing them faster than pursuing each separately).
