NMIT has delivered its Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) program since 1993. The redesigned 2019 curriculum builds on decades of proven success and continuous industry collaboration to address evolving business demands. We maintain our commitment to keeping the Bachelor of Commerce practical and aligned with contemporary business requirements, regularly updating course materials to mirror present and emerging business trends.
The program incorporates diverse hands-on learning approaches such as project-based challenges, business simulations, flipped classrooms, and case analyses. This methodology guarantees graduates are workplace-ready upon completion.
Focus on management or marketing while exploring electives in law, HR, supply chain, global commerce, and additional fields.

Students are required to complete international qualifications equivalent to New Zealand NCEA Level 3 qualification. Entry requirements vary from country to country.

Alternative requirements
Applicants who are unable to evidence that they meet Academic entry requirements, but who can demonstrate acquired skills for tertiary study gained through study, work and/or life experience, may be approved for alternative entry by the Curriculum Manager (or delegate)
