Massey's Bachelor of Arts (Japanese) program will develop your upper-intermediate to advanced proficiency in both spoken and written Japanese. You'll achieve skills roughly comparable to Level Three or higher on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. No previous Japanese language experience is necessary. If you've had some Japanese instruction before, we recommend consulting the qualification coordinator to determine your ideal starting level. This BA program is designed for non-native Japanese speakers. Whether you choose on-campus or distance learning, you'll benefit from dedicated, enthusiastic instructors. The curriculum includes digital study materials with interactive exercises, assignments, audio clips, video content, and presentations. These comprehensive resources complement your independent study. Distance learners can participate in scheduled virtual language tutorials. Qualification Requirements
We offer short English language courses, such as the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course, IELTS tests and preparation courses and Occupational English Tests. To study at Massey as an international student, you will need to meet certain entry requirements. These include English language skills and a qualification from high school, or other university. We recognise these English language examinations International English Language Testing System (IELTS) academic scores only, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Cambridge English Qualifications, NZCEL, Pearson Test of English (Academic), Language Cert. Your test results (scores) are valid for two years from the date on which you took the test. If you have taken a test other than the English language examinations listed above, include it with your Application for Admission as an International Student. It might be considered.
