Lincoln University offers a collaborative Postgraduate Certificate in International Rural Development through its Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce and Faculty of Environment, Society and Design. This program equips students with the expertise, competencies, and ethical foundations to address the economic, political, and social aspects of development initiatives. Throughout the course, participants will explore the significance of international rural development for sustainable socioeconomic progress; examine challenges affecting sustainable rural livelihoods; study policies, institutions, and practices that foster inclusive economic growth and responsible natural resource management; and develop essential analytical skills for applying these concepts in global rural development scenarios.
