Considering a profession in surgical patient care? Surgical procedures often mark a critical phase in a patient's recovery journey. As part of the operating theatre team, you'll play an essential role in supporting patients during this pivotal time, profoundly impacting their wellbeing.
Complete theoretical components remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while gaining hands-on experience through clinical placements at partner hospitals, arranged as conveniently near your location as feasible. Limited campus visits might be necessary.
Upon completion, you'll qualify to register as an anaesthetic technician with New Zealand's Medical Sciences Council. Your education will be guided by practicing professionals including anaesthetic technicians, anaesthetists, nurses, midwives, and medical specialists. International Baccalaureate (IB) with successful completion of a minimum of 24 points.
General Certificate of Education (GCE) with three A-levels including at least one C grade or better. A result in General Studies cannot be included among the 3 on which the application is based.
A minimum of CCC scores (7 points) across the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)
Acceptance of the NCUK English for Academic Purposes qualification as an alternative to meeting the English-language requirements, with a minimum of a C grade overall and no less than D grade in each component.
