Maintaining good oral health is crucial for overall wellbeing. Earning this oral health qualification enables you to work as a professional oral health therapist.

Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science (Oral Health), you'll qualify for registration with New Zealand's Dental Council. As a practitioner, you'll conduct oral health evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care within the approved scope of practice.

The program includes hands-on training in our simulation lab and clinical rotations at AUT's dental clinic plus community health centers across Auckland and New Zealand. Students also participate in community outreach programs and gain practical experience through oral health promotion initiatives.
