These signing abilities are sought after throughout New Zealand's social sectors, spanning education, healthcare, legal services, social work, and customer service roles.

Customize your sign language education to align with your interests, pairing it with complementary studies in fields like education, health promotion, or Māori development.

Through AUT's Bachelor of Arts, you can select from diverse specializations including languages, global studies, criminal justice, psychology, event coordination, and teaching. Craft a personalized degree that reflects your passions while gaining comprehensive knowledge about global affairs and your potential impact.

By examining complex social challenges, you'll develop expertise in problem-solving, critical analysis, communication, research, and inquiry. These competencies, combined with practical work experience during your final term, will equip you for rewarding careers both in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.
