Economics plays a crucial role in both social sciences and public policy. This field of study creates and utilizes frameworks that help analyze and solve important economic and societal challenges.

At its core, economics examines decision-making - the daily choices made by individuals, businesses, and governments. These range from personal responses to price fluctuations to policy approaches for tackling income disparity or environmental concerns. In an era of limited resources, these choices carry significant weight, making economists valuable assets across both corporate and government sectors.
