Merge your passion for science and technology with the fulfillment of helping people in healthcare environments.
Through operating x-ray machines and other imaging devices to capture internal views of injuries and potential illnesses, you'll master radiography techniques while gaining insight into how CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, nuclear medicine, and mammography aid in diagnosing and treating patients. You'll also cultivate the interpersonal abilities necessary to interact with patients empathetically.

To satisfy the rigorous professional requirements, our program integrates hands-on clinical experience with academic learning, enhancing your education and smoothing the progression from student to certified Medical Radiation Technologist.

Your training will include roughly 60 weeks of clinical placements across various healthcare facilities throughout New Zealand's urban centers.
