The Kemmy Business School (KBS) offers a dynamic research community featuring distinguished faculty members and an emphasis on impactful translational research that drives organizational and policy transformations. The Graduate Research Centre, located in UL's Foundation Building alongside other university research facilities, serves as the hub for our PhD and Masters candidates. Established in 1993, this center provides dedicated space, resources, and community for over 100 postgraduate researchers across various business disciplines, while also supporting specialized research clusters that unite faculty, fellows, and students around shared academic interests.
KBS fosters an intellectually stimulating atmosphere where students conduct meaningful research under the guidance of field-leading scholars, developing transferable skills that prepare them for leadership roles across multiple sectors. Requirements for research programmes.
Applicants to research programmes are also advised to meet the minimum requirements listed below or to provide a letter from their proposed supervisor stating that the supervisor is satisfied with the applicant's level of English.

Minimum Requirements

TOEFL - a minimum score of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer-based) or 80 (internet based) in the TOEFL test
IELTS - The British Council/University of Cambridge Local Syndicate's test of Academic English, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a composite score in the range of 6-6.5 and not less than 6 in any one component, for entry to degree programmes in the Faculty of Science & Engineering and a composite score in the range of 6.5-7 and not less than 6 in any one component, for entry to programmes in the Faculties of Business, Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences and Education & Health Sciences.

University of Dublin (Trinity College) English Composition (not English Literature) at Pass Level or above
