The Kemmy Business School (KBS) offers a dynamic research atmosphere featuring distinguished faculty members and an emphasis on student involvement in translational research—studies that drive organizational transformation and influence public policy. Under the guidance of their supervisors or advisory teams, students pursue research initiatives while honing sophisticated research methodologies applicable to diverse professional paths in academia, corporate sectors, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations. Located in UL's Foundation Building, which serves as a hub for university-wide research, the KBS Graduate Research Centre has supported full-time PhD and Master's candidates since its 1993 founding. This facility ensures postgraduate researchers have dedicated workspace and resources, currently serving over 100 students across various business disciplines. The Centre also incorporates specialized research units that bring together faculty, scholars, and doctoral candidates with aligned research focuses.
KBS fosters an energetic academic community where pioneering faculty mentor students in impactful, policy-relevant research. Working closely with their supervisory teams, graduate researchers cultivate sophisticated investigation techniques valuable for careers spanning higher education, corporate environments, public institutions, and charitable organizations.
