This specialized conversation course is tailored for science and engineering graduates (excluding Chemical Engineering) seeking to build careers in process or pharmaceutical industries. The program delivers a solid foundation in chemical engineering fundamentals along with hands-on experience in designing and operating chemical processes. It presents a unique chance for qualified candidates to earn an accredited Chemical Engineering qualification through just one year of full-time study.
Upon completion, graduates will demonstrate comprehensive understanding of chemical engineering principles and practical skills in process operations. Qualification Requirements

Applicants should normally have a primary degree (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) with a minimum result of a 2H2 (Second class honours, grade 2) in a relevant branch of science or engineering (e.g. Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Biochemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Environmental, Food or Materials Science, Mechanical, Environmental or Food Engineering). They must also show evidence of proficiency in chemistry (chemical thermodynamics, reaction kinetics) and mathematics, (particularly in differential and integral calculus). Applications from graduates with work experience are especially welcome.
