The Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences focuses on cross-disciplinary learning, enabling students to integrate three academic fields. This program pairs with a data science foundation, highlighting data proficiency, methods for gathering and handling data, and techniques for extracting information from digital platforms. Learners will also have the chance to conduct independent social science research guided by a specialist in the field.
Participants will gain real-world experience through Cooperative Education Placements and can study internationally via UL's renowned Erasmus and Exchange initiative. These off-campus components offer exceptional developmental prospects and hands-on professional training, along with exposure to diverse cultural and social settings.
If you're captivated by human language and communication in all its forms—interested in language origins, acquisition, evolution, variation across individuals, regions, genders, and generations—this program is for you. You'll examine language's societal impact and investigate how languages interact and compete. Combining linguistics with TESOL transforms you into a language specialist, enhancing both your communication abilities and your understanding of global languages.
