Nursing is a physically and emotionally demanding career. Applicants must be in good health and capable of meeting the profession's competency requirements. Admission to the nursing program is contingent upon satisfactory Garda vetting, health screening, and vaccination clearance, which will be arranged by the Department of Nursing and Midwifery. Applicants should note that health screening and vaccination costs will typically be their responsibility.
