Our BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies degree is a post-registration qualification designed for practicing nurses, aligned with Level 8 of Ireland's National Framework of Qualifications (National Qualifications Authority of Ireland, 2003). The UCC School of Nursing and Midwifery, part of the College of Medicine and Health, proudly offers this forward-thinking program that expands upon the knowledge gained through pre-registration education and clinical experience. This course will particularly interest nurses in various clinical or leadership roles, equipping them with contemporary skills and expertise for both general and specialized nursing practice.
This BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies program can be finished within one academic year (60 credits).
Students who have undertaken flexi-option modules (Level 8 or higher) might qualify for certain module exemptions. All exemption requests must be submitted during the application process.
