The Geography department fosters a dynamic community of PhD and M.Litt scholars. It provides an outstanding scholarly atmosphere for postgraduate research within an encouraging framework. Every candidate receives guidance from a primary Supervisor(s) and a Graduate Research Committee composed of seasoned academics to design their study path and offer continuous research assistance.
For admission to the PhD, an upper Second Class Honours, Grade 1 minimum (or equivalent international qualification), is required.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
