Comprehend the worldviews of individuals from different historical eras. Analyze and discuss historical transformations through writing and speech.

Professional Pathways
The MA serves as a strong basis for History PhD candidates and independent researchers. Alumni have secured positions in education, government, research institutions, libraries, archives, cultural preservation, tourism, journalism, and political organizations. Current professionals in these sectors will also enhance their career prospects through this program.
A Second Class Honours BA degree or equivalent with a H2.1 or GPA of 3.3 in History is normally required. Different criteria may apply to mature applicants.
Selection will be based on applicants' academic record and academic references testifying to their academic ability and enthusiasm for history. An applicant’s active engagement with history outside of the academic context may also be taken into consideration
The same entry requirements and application procedure are in place for both the MA and PDip programme.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component; Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE): 176 overall; Cambridge C2 Advanced (CPE): 180 overall; TOEFL: 88 overall (7 Listening, 16 Speaking, 18 Writing, 8 Reading); Pearson PTE: 61 overall, no less than 48 in any one component.
