This course equips students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on research skills to analyze global social transformation processes and contemporary challenges.
By examining Ireland's recent societal changes within broader European and worldwide contexts, the program offers specialized training in comparative social change topics.
With an international focus, the curriculum incorporates valuable case studies from Ireland, Europe, and emerging economies like India, China, and Brazil (the BRIC nations).
Students gain expertise in designing, conceptualizing, and executing cross-national comparative research, while exploring its applications in policy formulation.
