Business Analytics offers analytical techniques for addressing challenges and supporting decisions, especially when dealing with extensive datasets. This field focuses on creating and implementing models and frameworks to examine management concerns and resolve business issues, encompassing Data Science, Management Science, and Operational Research.

The MSc in Business Analytics is designed to cultivate specialized knowledge at the forefront of quantitative analysis, complex decision-making, and cutting-edge machine learning. Qualification Requirements

A minimum second class honours primary degree or equivalent which includes quantitative techniques including Engineering Computer Science and other Sciences Applicants with a Business studies background need to have taken MISManagement Information Systems subjects Maths or other quantitative courses

A student may be asked to undertake the GMAT or GRE at the Directors discretion

Taught Masters - A minimum overall score of 7.0 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band on the Academic Version. The non-academic version is not accepted.
Taught Masters - A minimum score of 100 is required in the Internet based TOEFL iBT with a score of at least 20 in each section.
UCD has approved the use of the Duolingo Test of English DET for the 2023-24 intake.
An overall score of 130 will be accepted with no section below 110.
