UCD School of Art History and Cultural Policy offers postgraduate research programs at both MLitt and PhD levels, available full-time or part-time in Art History as well as Cultural Policy and Arts Management. Typically, an MLitt takes 2 years to complete, whereas PhD candidates usually spend 3-4 years on their research (or longer for part-time students).

To be eligible to enter a research masters degree or PhD programme an applicant must have obtained a minimum of an upper secondclass degree or equivalent in a relevant bachelor degree
