Biotechnology explores how biological materials and systems can be utilized and adapted for specialized applications in various processes and products. This field involves harnessing living organisms to create or enhance products and procedures for particular purposes. The BSc and MSc programs in SBBS integrate all fundamental disciplines with biotechnology. Faculty research within the School spans medical, industrial, and environmental biotechnology applications.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible to enter a research masters degree or PhD programme an applicant must have obtained a minimum of an upper secondclass degree or equivalent in a relevant bachelor degree IELTS - An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band. TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
