The MA program leverages the academic focus of philosophers and cognitive scientists at UCD. It combines insights from both phenomenological and analytic philosophical traditions with empirical mind/brain research to deliver a distinctive graduate program on this significant and widely debated subject.

Integrates phenomenological perspectives, philosophy of mind, and cognitive science.

Examines how the body and its environmental contexts refine conventional views on perception, emotion, and attention.

By investigating consciousness and embodiment, this program highlights how agency, rationality, and social factors collectively shape our comprehension of the embodied mind.
