This program provides a truly interdisciplinary European studies approach for law students, examining how different academic viewpoints influence our understanding of the European Union. Through core modules, students will expand their thinking beyond legal frameworks while enhancing their analytical skills across disciplines. Faculty from the Sutherland School of Law conduct extensive research covering all aspects of European Law, from EU institutional frameworks to critical analyses of specific legal domains like competition and environmental law.
Key objectives include:
Developing critical perspectives on the interplay between law, politics, and international relations in EU studies;
Applying knowledge of EU law, political theory, and international relations to both practical and theoretical scenarios;
