This research theme utilizes genomic data to enhance our understanding of cellular processes across various animal and plant models. State-of-the-art genetic, molecular, and cellular techniques are applied to investigate cell signaling, reproductive biology, apoptosis, membrane dynamics, aging processes, drug delivery systems, epigenetic regulation, and stress responses. Our integrated approach to studying both plant and animal systems enables groundbreaking advancements in biotechnology.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible to enter a research masters degree or PhD programme an applicant must have obtained a minimum of an upper second-class degree or equivalent in a relevant bachelor degree.

IELTS - An average score of 6.5 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL IBT - iBT 90 no less than 21 in writing and at least 19 in every other section in the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL.
