At its core, philosophy revolves around conversation and debate, presenting logical reasoning and illustrative cases while considering opposing views and contradictory evidence. While we study the writings of renowned thinkers, we also critically examine their reasoning and outcomes. Though lectures form the foundation of all courses, they often involve significant student participation. Furthermore, philosophy stands out among university disciplines by providing small-group tutorials for every module.
