Our Food Business with Chinese Studies program equips graduates with essential skills needed by Ireland's food sector to thrive in today's evolving marketplace. Given Brexit and UK market instability, expanding exports to growing economies like China has become crucial. We address this need through a curriculum blending core food science, business management, and specialized courses in language, culture, and target markets. During their third year, students attend Renmin University of China, immersing themselves in language studies and relevant coursework while experiencing China's rich culture and dynamic economy.
By their final year, students develop the expertise required for strategic decision-making in international agri-food businesses, with a special focus on the Chinese market.
