The UCD Agricultural Science program provides 11 distinct specialization options. Each begins with a common first year to establish a solid grounding in essential sciences, mathematics, and economics for subsequent studies. Available specializations include:

Agricultural Science DN250 has a total of 280 available spots. The typical enrollment for each specialization is detailed on their respective pages.
For students considering Agricultural Science but undecided on a focus area, the No Preference (NPF) option can be selected on the CAO form. This allows specialization selection during the first year at UCD. Admission to the program guarantees placement in any of the eleven specializations starting from year two. Alternatively, applicants certain of their preferred focus may indicate their choice directly on the CAO application.
