Since 1992, our Law LLM program has been delivered by the School of Law and continues to be a highly sought-after option for postgraduate education. Learners can specialize in specific fields such as commercial or international law, or opt for a diverse selection of legal topics. The program additionally enables participants to conduct research projects in their preferred specialization, guided by committed and knowledgeable faculty members.
The LLM curriculum provides extensive module choices covering various legal domains including criminal justice, healthcare legislation, civil liberties, digital law, ecological regulations, and patent law. Participants may concentrate on one or two specialized fields or explore multiple subjects from the comprehensive offerings listed in our module catalog.

Qualification Requirements
(a) Hold a BCL (Hons) Degree from the National University of Ireland with at least a Second Class Honours Grade I; Or
(b) Have such other relevant third-level educational qualifications and/or professional experience as, in the School of Law's opinion, qualify the candidate under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to undertake the LLM Degree.
Applications from overseas candidates are welcome and their qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis under (b) above.
