This program explores the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome, spanning from Rome's establishment around 753 BC to the decline of Greco-Roman culture in the East by approximately 750 AD. Students will examine mythology, literary works (including poetry, prose, and drama), artistic expressions, architectural achievements, as well as military and political developments. While prior knowledge of classical languages isn't necessary, participants may choose to study introductory Greek or Latin. Important highlights
