Trinity's midwifery education faculty boasts an impressive history of shaping midwifery practice both in Ireland and globally. This leadership is demonstrated through groundbreaking research and by enhancing learning in both academic and clinical environments. Our faculty members actively contribute to midwifery regulation through the NMBI and influence healthcare policy via the HSE. We take great pride in nurturing and developing Ireland's next generation of midwifery professionals. After completing Year One, students may opt to graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery or continue to Year Two to earn their Master's degree in Midwifery.
Please note: The M.Sc. Midwifery program does not qualify graduates for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), as it's specifically designed for postgraduate midwives already registered with the board.
