The Master of Science in Applied Psychology equips students with comprehensive insights into psychological application challenges, the necessary skills for effective practice, and in-depth expertise in their selected specialization area. Analysis, intervention, and assessment form the foundational pillars of the program's curriculum and approach. Core coursework focuses on research methodologies and professional considerations, while elective modules allow students to enhance these skills and explore their practical implementation through specialized applied studies and an in-depth empirical research project.
Applicants will be required to hold at least a minimum of an upper second-class honours degree (2.1) in psychology or its equivalent from a recognised university course, which confers eligibility for graduate registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland or equivalent professional body in the case of overseas applicants.
