The School consists of over twenty full-time faculty members, along with numerous Postdoctoral Fellows, Teaching Associates, Research Associates, and Teaching Assistants. Annually, it hosts more than 100 visiting students and approximately 30 research degree candidates. While student numbers are significant, the School prioritizes small-group instruction and personalized research guidance.

Central to our philosophy is the conviction that teaching and research are deeply interconnected and mutually enriching.
Postgraduate work in Trinity College Dublin is very academically challenging and as a result the University has high academic entry requirements. Applicants will need to hold at least a 2.1 honors degree from an Irish university or equivalent result from a university in another country; a fluent command of the English language. Display a high level of competence in the English language in one of the examination systems recognised by Trinity College Dublin.
