Graduate studies in the Mathematics School provide opportunities across pure mathematics, theoretical physics, and cross-disciplinary fields like bioinformatics. With its intimate size and relaxed atmosphere, the School fosters strong connections between students, faculty, postdoctoral researchers, visiting academics, and peers. The Hamilton Mathematics Institute's workshops and guest lectures (www.hamilton.tcd.ie), combined with collaborative seminars involving the Theoretical Physics School at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies and Trinity College Dublin's three neighboring universities, create a vibrant academic environment for students during their time at TCD.
