Ancient History and Archaeology focus on exploring past social, political, and cultural experiences. This program allows you to engage with both disciplines, examining Greek and Roman civilizations through historical texts, literature, and physical artifacts from ancient sites. While all materials are provided in translation with no Greek or Latin prerequisites, introductory language courses are available for those interested.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants must have completed a high school qualification equivalent to the Irish Leaving Certificate. General matriculation requirements include pass grades in English, mathematics and a language other than English. Additional requirements may apply for some courses.
- TOEFL: Internet based 90 (with a written score of 21).
- University of Cambridge: 180+ on Cambridge English scale with no less than 175 in each skill and use of English i.e. Proficiency Certificate, Grade C or better (CEFR Level C1 or C2), Advanced Certificate, Grade C or better (CEFR Level C1 or C2), First Certificate
- Grade A (CEFR Level C1); IELTS: (Academic version) 6.5 (no individual band below 6)
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PTE Academic: a minimum score of 63 (with no section score below 59).
