The program is collaboratively developed with industry leaders, blending civil engineering expertise with essential management competencies. This four-year sandwich course equips graduates with specialized knowledge and practical techniques for civil engineering management. The structure includes two years of full-time academic study, one year of hands-on professional experience (or equivalent), and a concluding year of full-time education.
Upon completion, graduates will possess the capability to oversee infrastructure development projects from construction to maintenance. Their expertise will cover diverse structures such as bridges, marine facilities, underground tunnels, transportation networks (including roads, railways, and airports), as well as environmental initiatives like water treatment systems, pipeline networks, waste disposal solutions, and various construction projects spanning residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Leaving Certificate: A minimum of 2 H5 & 4 O6/H7 grades in six Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish.
