This Level 8 BEng in Process and Engineering Management add-on program prepares graduates to enhance manufacturing, service, or business processes. Through modules like Engineering Operations Management, Project Management, Statistics, Applied Process Improvement, and a selected dissertation, students acquire essential industry skills to proactively identify, assess, enhance, and manage existing processes. Designed as a practical, industry-focused program, learners actively participate in real-world projects across various modules. They also visit regional companies to observe and experience different manufacturing environments firsthand. The program's primary goal is to produce industry-ready graduates equipped for manufacturing or service sector roles.
Because of the hands-on module approach and strong industry connections, students can earn additional certifications alongside their Level 8 honors degree:
Completing both Applied Process Improvement modules qualifies students for a globally recognized Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Finishing both Project and Applied Project Management modules enables students to apply for a Project Management certificate from PMI (Project Management Institute).
