This studio-focused program features modules mainly evaluated through design projects, coursework, and assignments. The curriculum explores interior spaces through analysis, research, and creative interventions. By comprehending client requirements, honoring existing contexts, and investigating specialized domains, students can develop pertinent, inventive, and original solutions.
Design projects serve as the core learning method, encouraging inspired approaches to repurposing interior environments. Projects encompass residential, commercial, hospitality, community, social, and user-specific interior scenarios. The initial year establishes fundamental skills, enabling experimentation and helping students build expertise in spatial design methodologies. As the program advances, learners participate in real-world projects with community and nonprofit groups, tackling genuine client needs. Collaborative and team-based work complements individual studio practice. Local, national, and international field trips, combined with guest lectures from professional designers, foster engagement with industry standards and contemporary interior design developments.
