The Bachelor of Science in Sports and Leisure Management adopts a learner-focused methodology. Practical challenges are addressed by working with local communities and businesses, while cooperative and evaluative learning incorporates case analyses, industry expert presentations, and tours of various Sports and Leisure venues.
This program blends business principles with sports and leisure concepts, offering practical modules that equip graduates with diverse skills highly relevant to careers in Sports, Leisure, and connected fields. The curriculum covers areas like Business Communication, Digital Marketing, Cross-Cultural Skills, Health and Fitness Leadership, Business Innovation, Recreational Law, and Venue Operations. Students will develop the professional qualities and capabilities needed for success in this industry.
During the second and third years, elective choices allow specialization in community engagement, recreation and health, hospitality, or business administration. The capstone research project can focus on Community Development, Recreation and Health Promotion, Hospitality Studies, or Organizational Leadership.
