This program equips students with essential mathematical, regulatory, and scientific competencies to create, validate, and oversee sophisticated spectroscopic techniques and data modeling frameworks for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Using cutting-edge technology and diagnostic instruments, the curriculum delivers comprehensive analytical training, theoretical foundations, and regulatory expertise for developing validated spectroscopic methods applicable to in-line, at-line, or quality control laboratory settings. The integrated approach merges technical instruction with regulatory compliance, producing graduates who are both technically skilled and regulation-savvy.
Applicants require a second class honours degree or higher, or an equivalent in a science, business or management subject. Other applicants will be considered on an individual basis in accordance with the University policy on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). SETU Carlow reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
