The Master of Engineering in Flight Test Engineering program equips graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for careers in flight testing of manned and unmanned aircraft. Participants will study aircraft design and engineering systems to develop certification test procedures. The curriculum covers safe vehicle testing methods, performance evaluation from collected data, and assessment of flight characteristics. Students will master measurement approaches, instrumentation, and data processing techniques needed to gather, standardize, and publish flight test results in operational manuals. The program also provides in-depth understanding of propulsion and avionics systems, enabling students to identify system limitations and select appropriate flight testing methodologies.
