IT Security involves protecting data from unauthorized access and alterations. Cybercrime refers to unlawful actions conducted through technological means. As reliance on technology grows and connections expand between personal, corporate, governmental systems and vital infrastructure, the need for robust IT security intensifies. This program seeks to equip graduates with expertise in cybersecurity methodologies, implementation strategies, and evaluation techniques for both IT systems and software, fostering secure and adaptable solutions. The curriculum is built upon three foundational areas: software engineering, network systems, and cybersecurity. Students first acquire competencies in constructing computer networks and developing software applications. Subsequent security-focused units empower learners to evaluate digital security risks, assess system vulnerabilities, and implement corrective measures for identified weaknesses.
