For those intrigued by computer science or software development but uncertain about specialization, Computer Science (Common Entry) offers the perfect starting point. This program introduces you to computing and software development fundamentals, allowing you to later select a specialization that aligns with your skills, passions, and career goals. Our specialized tracks enable us to adapt swiftly to industry changes while ensuring you develop robust programming and software development expertise. If you're passionate about computing and coding but still exploring your strengths and interests, this program provides the ideal pathway. Specialization choices come after your first year, once you've gained deeper insight into your capabilities. In the third year, students undertake a Work Placement or study abroad opportunity, with many securing paid positions during this period.
You should be at least 17 years of age in January of the year of entry.
You must have a Secondary/High School Diploma, with good grades in English and Mathematics and at least 4 other subjects, on average + 60%.
