RCSI's Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy is a four-year program designed for school leavers (with a three-year option for graduate entrants). The curriculum at RCSI prepares students for professional practice, with intensive training during the final three years to ensure graduates are fully equipped for diverse clinical environments. The first year focuses on foundational physiotherapy skills through on-campus clinical training, followed by six five-week clinical placements in years two and three. Students gain hands-on experience through RCSI's extensive network of high-quality placements across Dublin and other Irish locations such as Cork, Waterford, Galway, and Tralee. With no summer clinical placement requirements, students can explore additional opportunities like RCSI's Research Summer School, international research programs in China and Japan, or volunteer initiatives with Vietnam's Christina Noble Foundation.
