This bachelor's degree equips you with essential skills to pursue a rewarding career in health, fitness, sports, and leisure industries. The curriculum focuses on six core subjects, with five being mandatory for all students: Exercise Science, Health Studies, Activity Leadership, Physical Education, and Professional Practice. Students then choose between Education in Aquatics or Outdoor and Experiential Learning as their sixth specialization. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring graduates emerge as skilled and self-assured health professionals.
During the initial two years, students explore diverse subjects that form the groundwork for various careers in health, exercise, and sports fields. After completing second year, learners can specialize by selecting from three streams: Health, Sport and Exercise Sciences; Inclusive Sport and Physical Activity; or Physical Education Studies with Business. The third year includes a 12-week professional placement opportunity, which students may complete with local, national, or international organizations.
