The MLitt program spans at least two years. During the initial year (starting in September), students must enroll full-time and complete the MSc in Economics curriculum. After successfully finishing the MSc with honors, the student, guided by their supervisory committee, pursues a tailored study plan blending coursework, independent reading, and research. By the conclusion of the second year, the student must submit their thesis. If the thesis demonstrates PhD-level quality and the student achieves a minimum 60% grade in the program, they will be offered the opportunity to advance to the PhD program.
