The Professional Master of Education (Post Primary) is a full-time teaching qualification offered through evening and flexible study options for candidates who satisfy the Teaching Council's subject requirements for at least one discipline and aspire to teach in secondary schools. DCU's PME program equips graduates with essential competencies for modern educational environments. It trains educators to adapt to contemporary secondary curriculum changes while fostering independent teaching practice and collaborative curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation.
