If you're considering psychology as a profession, this might be the ideal path for you. As the first psychology program in Ireland to incorporate work placements, this Psychological Society of Ireland-accredited course offers valuable practical experience. In your third year, you'll complete an INTRA placement in clinical, corporate, or other professional settings. Though psychologists specialize in various fields, they all apply scientific methods to study behavior. Throughout the program, you'll develop expertise across all fundamental psychology domains. With small class sizes capped at 40 students per year, you'll enjoy personalized academic support. The curriculum also enhances visual, written, and communication abilities - skills applicable to numerous professional contexts. You'll cultivate competencies in problem-solving, statistical analysis, critical thinking, leadership, health literacy, teamwork, and technology. Graduates can pursue advanced studies in specialized areas like clinical psychology, organizational psychology, or sports psychology, among others. With psychology graduates being highly employable, you'll have access to diverse career opportunities across both public and private sectors.
