Sustainability, as an enduring theme, has evolved into a fundamental component of contemporary business practices and leadership. Growing public consciousness regarding the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has sparked significant enthusiasm for this field. The BA (Hons) in Sustainability Management program is designed to equip students with the expertise, competencies, and perspective needed to tackle worldwide sustainability issues while fostering sustainable practices across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Additionally, the choice to structure this proposed BA (Hons) in Sustainability Management curriculum around the UN's 17 SDGs stems from acknowledging the pressing necessity to confront global sustainability concerns. Incorporating these goals into our coursework ensures students gain a holistic view of sustainability's interconnected challenges, enabling them to make substantive contributions toward SDG attainment. (Refer to Section 2.9 Table 2.9 for program module-SDG alignment details).
