Sustainability concerns have become central to both worldwide communities and business operations. From corporate initiatives focusing on reducing carbon emissions, addressing colonial legacies, or promoting inclusion, leaders are more frequently responsible for planning, coordinating, and assessing sustainability efforts within their organizations.
First established in 1991 as the Erivan K. Haub Program in Business & the Environment, Schulich's Sustainability Specialization equips students with the expertise, tools, and hands-on experience needed to oversee sustainability projects in various business functions. By blending classroom debates, simulation activities, practical learning experiences (locally and abroad), and networking with industry experts, participants will develop strategies for collaborating with crucial stakeholders. Additionally, the program prepares students to address the growing complexities of sustainability reporting and compliance requirements affecting businesses worldwide.
